After the success of their ‘Concrete Wallpaper’ collection, Studio Piet Boon proudly introduces their second collection: Washi Wallpaper.
Washi, meaning Japanese paper, is traditional handmade paper that dates back to 610 AD. Though the paper enjoys a contemporary following and is used for different purposes, it still holds the same characteristics of strength, durability, lightness, warmth and flexibility as the traditional version. Impressed by the paper’ characteristics, versatility and beauty, Studio Piet Boon has used it as an inspiration for the new wallpaper design: a modern interpretation of Japanese Washi paper. The wallpaper, like any other, is available in roll format.
