Tell time in an uncharacteristic manner with Arachnophobia by Swiss watch manufacturer MB&F and engineered and crafted by L’Epée.
The eight legged timepiece was inspired by the giant spider sculpture called Maman (mother in French) created by French-American artist and sculptor Louise Bourgeois. The body of the clock is outfitted with a black dome with white numerals depicting the hours and minutes.
The head houses a regulator with its oscillating balance wheel, while the base contains the mainspring barrel, which powers the movement. The visually enticing legs are attached to the body, connected by ball-and-socket joints, enabling it to stand tall or splayed flat for wall mounting.
Arachnophobia is available in two colours, realistic-looking black and an artistic 18k yellow gold-plated edition.
